I love this place! It's such a very chic and relaxing cafe. When you walk in you immediately see their desserts through the glass casing. I'm hoping to get to try all of them at some point.
This time I got a caramel wafer cake. I recommend it! It's not to sweet and I really like the slightly crispy texture.
The quiche was pretty spot on. Surprisingly really filling. And savory! Just enough mushrooms and spinach.
My boyfriend liked his sandwhich but I forgot what it was. Had egg and bacon!
Great brunch spot in Burlingame. -

Cute find as we were leaving the airport looking for something healthy and delicious on the way to Monterey. The town itself is adorable with plenty of street parking. It is an order at the counter kind of place with all of their delicious food items displayed in a glass case. They also have an array of coffee and tea drinks offered. After ordering you receive a number and seat yourself.
I ordered the smoked salmon toast with avocado added to it and their version of and iced vanilla latte but it had caramel in it too. I think I woul have preferred just the iced vanilla latte though because the caramel made it too sweet. The toast was delicious though! Be hungry if you order this because it is a lot of food. Price wise I would say it is fairly expensive for an order at the counter kind of place but since it is more gourmet and you can make healthier choices I was able to justify it a bit more. The owner was there too and even came over to talk with us to see how things were. All in all, it was a great find when we were just looking for something quick and healthy and on our way to Monterey from the airport. -

OMG! This place is wonderful. It is a beautiful space with delicious food and an amazing choice of coffee beverages.
I have been looking for a healthy go to spot and finally found it! Caffe Central has so many salads and lighter choices, but also sinfully delightful delicacies.
This might be the best place for breakfast in Burlingame. -

We were in San Fran for an 8 hour layover and met my brother and his fiancé here for brunch. The cafe is really sweet and I love the display that has a ton of beautiful cakes, sandwiches, quiches, and more! They present the food beautifully and they also offer a lot of different types of coffee/ drinks.
The people working here were friendly and the hummus avocado toast was totally delicious. It threw me off because they definitely put truffle oil on it, but it worked and was really yum. It's a nice and chill place to eat some great food, both savoury and sweet! -

If you're one to complain about $8 avocado toast, then don't come to Caffe Central. But if you're looking for photogenic food in a lively cafe atmosphere, then how could you not pay a visit? The menu here of toasts, salads, sandwiches, and breakfast items may not sound all that interesting, but just have one look at the beautiful display case of food and you'll have your mind changed! On my visit, I tried the avocado & boiled egg toast, which came with arugula, provolone cheese, tomatoes, and olive oil on toasted artisan bread, along with a simple side salad dressed with a delicious blood orange vinaigrette! Nothing crazy, but the care and quality put into this (and every) dish really showed! I also tried the French Classic sandwich from the lunch menu, a baguette sandwich with ham, melted swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato. So toasty!
